HIV positive theater actor-director urges investigation on blacklist order

MANILA, Philippines – Theater actor-director Marcelino Cavestany will seek investigation from the senate or congress following a blacklist order against him from the Bureau of Immigration (BI) which prevented him from entering the Philippines last March 6.

Filipino-Australian artist Marcelino Cavestany (Screen grab from GMANews.TV) MANILA, Philippines – Theater actor-director Marcelino Cavestany will seek investigation from the senate or congress following a blacklist order against him from the Bureau of Immigration (BI) which prevented him from entering the Philippines last March 6. Cavestany was “alarmed” and felt “dehumanized” after he was blocked by Immigration agents at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. He even suffered a heart attack and was also hospitalized on Sunday, as reported on “Unang Hirit,” March 10.
